Husband-and-wife team Charlie and Laura Robertson bring over 40 years of combined experience to Hamesford, united by a shared love of beautiful design and a meticulous attention to detail. Laura founded Hamesford in 2022, and since Charlie joined the business, the pair have worked together blending their individual strengths into a seamless partnership.

With a degree in History of Art and over 20 years working in the interiors and antiques industry, Laura’s wealth of experience, extensive network, and genuine passion for the field make her exceptionally well-suited to guide and support clients through their interiors projects, however large or small. Her creativity, intuitive sense of proportion, and eye for layering textures and colour, complement Charlie’s creativity and instinct for decorative detail, as well as his strategic vision, technical expertise, and award-winning track record in residential design. Charlie’s experience spans globally, from high-end London homes to projects in New York, Moscow, Beijing, Lagos and Monaco, and also includes 20 suites at London’s Claridge’s Hotel.

Together, Laura and Charlie deliver interiors that are both elegant and welcoming, balancing artistry with functionality. Their partnership allows them to approach projects with insight, precision, and a shared commitment to creating spaces that feel effortlessly stylish, considered and personal, with a focus on architectural detailing, thoughtful layering, and timeless design.
